CHIPS is committed to making the highest use possible of our donors’ generous contributions In past years, our work was funded by a large, multi-year federal grant.  When that grant ended, we restructured our staff and operations.  Through reorganization, we are continuing the critical work that has made a difference preventing substance abuse and promoting health for our youth and communities.  Private donations are making the difference in our ability to pursue our mission. Essex CHIPS, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation. Your donations are tax deductible.

Monetary Donations
The easiest way to help support this mission is by donating online through our secure paypal site.

Recurring Donations
Recurring donations allow small donation to go a long way. While many people may wish to make one large donation, current economic conditions may not allow them to do that. Recurring donations allow donors to donate small sums, through the year. Helping Essex CHIPS in the long term, and allowing small donors to have a big impact.

One-Time Donations
One-Time Donations are traditional, one time gifts, to Essex CHIPS of whatever donors are able to give. These gifts help CHIPS cover day-to-day costs of providing programming to the community, are are an important part of community support.

In-Kind Donations
In-Kind donations are non-monetary donations to Essex CHIPS.

  • Gift cards to Costco for Teen Center snack items and related supplies

  • Funds to replace the felt on our Pool Table
  • Kitchen Utensils (Serrated Knife, Serving Knife, Spatulas, Serving Spoons, Spreading Knives & large cutting boards)
