We offer a variety of programs for youth in 4th grade and up, all year long!
The Adventure Orientation Program
This is an adventure-based, experiential learning program designed to ease the transitioning from middle to high school. The program consists of a 4 day, outdoor backpacking trip in the Green Mountains of Vermont
Above the Influence is a national campaign that is being localized to the Essex Community. Essex CHIPS is spearheading the efforts, working with local youth and schools to implement ATI in the community. Essex youths are working to promote healthy lifestyles and substance-free events.
IBM Lego Camp
SET Camp at Essex CHIPS and Teen Center will introduce your child to the fields of robotics, engineering, environmental science, music, and architecture.
LTR Snowboard camp is a full week during February break of snowboarding, group games and leadership opportunities.
Teen Center
The Essex Teen Center provides drop in hours and activities organized by teens for teens during the after school hours. All activities are supervised by CHIPS staff and adult volunteers.
Tween Center
The Tween Center is a great place for pre-teens to hang out on Mondays after school. All activities are supervised by CHIPS staff and adult volunteers!
Stomping Ground
Since 2005 the Stomping Grounds has set out to provide a place where high school aged youth can display their talents and enjoy the company of their peers in a safe and healthy environment, while also strengthening their sense of community.
