YEAR LONG FUN!
In addition to the backpacking portion of the program, students will be invited to participate in half-day follow-up retreats that will be offered quarterly throughout the school year. The half-day retreats will serve to educate and support students in continuing to develop skills that will help them succeed as high school students. Retreat options include: A day of sailing on Lake Champlain, hiking to the top of Mt. Mansfield, working together as a team on a high ropes course, and white water rafting!

REAL ADVICE FROM REAL STUDENTS
To support incoming students to development positive social networks, upper-class EHS students and EHS faculty members will serve as trip leaders throughout the program. CHIPS staff will also serve as trip leaders, but we will let the EHS Trip Leaders share their knowledge about life in high school. Through one-on-one mentor ship students will form new friendships and be better prepared for the next chapter in their journey!
