About The Food Shelf

The Essex CHIPS Youth Food Shelf is an initiative of our TeenLine program. It is located within the CHIPS offices and is available for use to all youth in the Essex Westford School District and their families. It is our goal for no youth in our district to go hungry or without essential supplies.

In addition to shelf stable food, the Food Shelf also offers items such as clothing, toiletries, and school supplies. Youth and their families may visit the Food Shelf at any time during open hours and select food or other essential items. It is completely free and confidential to use the CHIPS Food Shelf and visitors are encouraged to return as often as they need. Contact TeenLine if you are interested in learning about other resources that can help to combat food insecurity.

The CHIPS Food Shelf is currently open by appointment Monday through Friday from 9am - 5:30pm. You can access the Food Shelf several different ways:

Click the button below to fill out our Food Shelf Request form and a TeenLine responder will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
