Youth Services Coordinator
Essex CHIPS is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic AmeriCorps member for a 10-12 month term, starting in September. The AmeriCorps member will work with youth in various CHIPS programs, including the Teen/Tween Center, FriendCHIPS mentoring, Outlet LGBTQ group, community education efforts, TeenLine, and the Quality Youth Development project. AmeriCorps provides a living allowance of $14,100 for this full-time community service role, with a $6,000 education award upon completion of the term. Essex CHIPS is seeking college or graduate level interns in several areas including youth programming, grant writing, youth mental health support, and community development.
There may be flexibility to tailor internship activities to meet educational requirements and hours.
