Interested in serving on our Board? Applications for youth and adult board members are accepted at all times of year. Gain leadership experience, influence the way our community serves youth, experience the behind-the-scenes work of a small non-profit agency, and develop partnerships with youth, CHIPS staff, and community members. And, of course, have fun!

Board Meetings take during evening hours (usually between 5:30 and 8pm) and happen once every two months. Additional committee meetings are scheduled as needed.

 

Board members:

• Help create a vision for how our organization accomplishes its mission

• Build support for our work – join the group in creating a fundraising plan, talking with donors, and establishing new connections

• Are advisors for lead staff – guide them in making good decisions

• Serve as an ambassador in the community – attend events and help people learn about CHIPS
