Members of Essex Above The Influence (ATI) don’t just promote the message of rising above negative influences, they live it. They serve as peer educators, statewide advocates, and plan substance-free community events.
TEENLINE / SAFE PLACE
TeenLine is a pilot program of Essex CHIPS that seeks to connect area youth with a broad range of services that enable them to live healthier lives and better fulfill their potential. TeenLine is not simply a phone line for youth, but a life-line toessential services, which can be accessed by phone, texting, social media, and in-person.
CHIPS YOUTH EMPLOYMENT
Is a job bank program for youth ages 13-17 in Chittenden County. The purpose of the YES! Program is to connect local youth to employment opportunities with adults in the community who need jobs done.

OUTLET YOUTH GROUP
We want to create a safe space for the LGBTQ + community and develop connections. Discussing difficult topics, sharing stories, and above all, honoring and celebrating youth of all sexual orientations and gender identities!
FriendCHIPS Youth Mentoring school-based mentoring program that empowers 3rd - 8th grade students in the Essex Town community to make healthy life choices that enable them to maximize their personal potential.
Incoming Essex High School freshmen embark on a multi-day backpacking journey along Vermont's Long Trail. Upperclassmen and adult trip leaders join to provide a meaningful orientation experience for participants as they form friendships and gain valuable wilderness skills.
